The why
Have you ever wondered how in nature what one being considers waste (fruit peels) becomes food for another (trees), how daytime and nocturnal creatures can share the same world and nothing feels wasted?
I have felt like this a lot and have spent more than a decade of my childhood and teen years in creative workshops, learning how to express what I see and experience through songs, poetry, stories.
That same curiosity eventually led me to study medicine, giving me an understandings of the balanced exchange between living and material world, how disease for one species is life for another and again another species is the treatment. This made my awe more nuanced.
But at one point, maybe you have also experienced this, I had to plan how to have my interests and learnings and also fill my belly.
Over time, I learned and bootstrapped ways to turn learning into earnings for a life that can more or less balanced scientific knowledge and causeless joy.
I opted to both practice my learning as a doctor, artist, traditional philosophy student as well as share them for anyone who is curious or needs the information whether for school or 😔 due to lack of access to a school.
Digital and AI tools have helped me continue my endeavours even with all the demands of life.
And that is what Laureleira Victoria is about.

Sustainable Creation
"Using Print-on-demand is not as environmentally friendly as you think. It is still producing waste. 😤"
This thought is not technically wrong. But, I will say this for myself and other POD people:
Though Print-on-Demand may not be perfect, there are still carbon costs in transport and packaging but it’s a gentler step. Each item is made only after it’s ordered, avoiding piles of unsold stock that become unnecessary waste.
It may not be fully loss free, but it is, in my opinion and according to my research, a step in the right direction and the best we have now.
